For the 15th year in row, the City of Riviera Beach is giving a financial boost to local students who are planning to enroll in college this fall. The City is now accepting applications for the 2012 Riviera Beach Education Scholarship Program.

72 HOUR BOIL WATER NOTICE

RIVIERA BEACH - Due to scheduled service improvements, water service will be interrupted to a small section of the eastern area of the City on Thursday, May 13, 2010 and Friday, May 14th. City workers are scheduled to complete a Water Main Tie-in that will affect the area from 5000 North Ocean Boulevard to 5550 North Ocean Boulevard. The Water Main Tie-in will require a disruption of water service in that area from 9:00 PM Thursday, May 13th to 3:00 AM Friday, May 14th. When water service is restored, a 72 hour Boil Water Order will be in effect. Water users must boil cooking and drinking water for a minimum of five (5) minutes prior to use / consumption.

The CRB and the American Cancer Society (ACS) are co-sponsoring the "Relay for Life of Riviera Beach" on June 4-5 at Calloway Park @ Tate Recreation Center. The relay is a team run-walk competition, with each team walking the track in shifts.
The kickoff party will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 5 at Newcomb Hall at the Municipal Marina.
All city resident are invited to participate in both events.
